Hi, I am Kristen Ballard, founder of Morning Star Botanicals. We are a Catholic Marian-inspired company, named after Our Lady, traditionally known as the Morning Star, a beautiful symbol of hope, healing, and gentle guidance on life’s journey.

This dream became reality thanks to my husband Travis, my business management partner, my oldest son Kaden, who built the website, and my other son Trevor and daughter Veda who help with the day-to-day items like packing orders, stamping logos, and assembling samples.

The journey began with my lifelong battle with eczema and a deep desire for healing. As a young mother, I watched helplessly as my son suffered from severe asthma, spending nearly half a year in and out of the hospital. Out of desperation for answers sparked our search for natural solutions and ignited our never-ending journey toward clean living.

Years later, my husband’s leukemia diagnosis and six months in the hospital deepened our belief in the importance of holistic care. We have never looked back.

The all-natural recipes I created and refined over the years, using only the highest quality ingredients, brought relief and comfort to our family and friends. Now, with my children mostly grown, I am excited to share them more widely.

What started as a mother’s effort to heal her family has become a mission to help others find comfort, balance, and wellness through clean, natural living.
